Pretty much always have CC on for everything except sports. Got a kid that's 6 and also our HVAC is loud as hell.

It's great for Netflix and scripted shows/movies. Terrible for live stuff as it legit appears someone is trying to guess/type the CC as things are rolling.

I have to use CC because I can't hear for crap and my family doesn't want to watch TV with the volume at 50. On the plus side, I can read really fast now.

I couldn't stay interested post Ragnar. Those early seasons though were bitchin.

I stopped watching during the season where Ragnar went off the rails with the asian slave girl. I saw part of an episode the other night where they were choosing a king and Largetha was kicking azz.

Not yet. Like 6 episodes in on cable. I record it. Kinda wish I went the download route to get the british version. They edit a lot of the NSFW stuff out on the history channel.
Oh really?!? I may and wait until that’s all available at some point. I don’t have cable and I don’t have great streaming in the sticks. Also, when I have a show or movie I like, I want to see it with best picture quality

Didn’t realize he was even considering leaving early. Doesn’t really make sense for kickers. Half the colllege star kickers don’t do **** in nfl for some reason anyway.

I don't think he was, I think he heard people ask enough (because he's so good, it's a logical question) that he just decided to make a post to remove doubt.

23/27 from FG for 85.2% & 35/35 for 100% on PATs put him in an interesting spot. He also probably already graduated, most the special teams types knock out their degrees in 3 and start grad/master programs.

Opening with Charlotte and Oklahoma is brutal.
If you think about it, they usually drop 1 and I think we’ll be the best team on their schedule next year.

They played 1 score games against Texas, KSU (loss), ISU, Baylor (twice), and TCU this year, and they’re losing Hurts next year.

Not calling a win, but I think they’re significantly closer to us than Alabama/UGA are right now.

yeah, like i said, i get it.

i'm just not convinced that we don't get improved QB play this season. be it one of the returners, or HB lighting it up.

obviosuly, if we don't, that makes things much much harder.

i just don't see any 'sure things' in the transfer market, especially those that could come in, and be that much of a difference maker in an abbreviated off season with a new team and staff.

i think we're finally to the point where some consistency on the staff and returning experience pays off.....

I'm with you on this. I see zero "sure things" out there and programs doing better ( like Ga yuck) will get 1st pick among the "fairly decent". Hate it but it's a QB's last shot to shine and I can't blame them for going the established route.

This leaves us with lower end "decently good" that has to learn our offense or needs some work, etc.. which I believe already describes some in our QB room.

With no sure things available, were just burning a spot ala Chryst and raising the potential of a transfer.
But Chryst was actually needed for depth. This cycle, we would just be trading apples for apples but losing a spot, imo.
