The increase can be attributed to the Gator Bowl's announced crowd of 38,206 for Texas A&M-North Carolina State in 2018 growing to 61,789 for Tennessee-Indiana.
i really hope we don't do a grad transfer qb. the only way it would make sense is if if was an EAson/fields/burrow situation and i don't see any of those out there.Anyone else feel like we are ramping up for a run next year? I don't think CJP is content waiting for his time to come to him. He is taking the bull by the horns. I wouldn't be shocked at a QB transfer if they don't feel like HB is ready.
I'm not sure I'm 10-2 just yet.
Love that the LOS seems set, but there will be quite a few question marks. WR & LB jump out based on what we lost. And of course QB play if nothing else proved to us this season is the different in winning and losing even "easy" games.
I'd probably say 8 wins is my floor, assuming no major injuries. @ Oklahoma is pretty iffy for me, since it's our 2nd game of the season and first road test. Florida here, Alabama here are going to be exciting games especially if we pull off the upset and beat the Sooners. We get a bye before Bama too which should be helpful. @ Georgia in November could be a good thing or a bad thing, I'm not super excited about Georgia having time to "figure it out" but that game could very well be for the SEC East title this year.
Exciting season, probably will grow more optimistic once I see how camps go and where we are from an injury standpoint.
I get this take, but if you consider the situation, with JG (proven consistently inconsistent), BM (unproven), JTS (unproven), HB (unproven), and you have Kaseem Hill (?), you are still only an elite QB (or even a good, consistent passer) away from contention. If you aren't confident that what you have on the team will help you win on a high level, do you consider a transfer?i really hope we don't do a grad transfer qb. the only way it would make sense is if if was an EAson/fields/burrow situation and i don't see any of those out there.
you got three guys coming back (for now anyway) for year 2 under Chaney. a RS Sr. that's finally gonna get 2 years with the same staff, and a young guy that has all the potential you want.
siap, i understand we have to have better qb play...it's an absolute must.
i'm just not convinced that's not what we're gonna get when we kick off next season......
the potential is there for a run if a few things work our way. two huge games early....win 1, or both, and we could put ourselves in the conversation......
yeah, like i said, i get it.I get this take, but if you consider the situation, with JG (proven consistently inconsistent), BM (unproven), JTS (unproven), HB (unproven), and you have Kaseem Hill (?), you are still only an elite QB (or even a good, consistent passer) away from contention. I understand that there aren't a lot of elite options today, but that doesn't prevent a spring transfer.
Here's to HB, BM, or JG having a breakout year. I won't really care which one takes over if they play at a high level.yeah, like i said, i get it.
i'm just not convinced that we don't get improved QB play this season. be it one of the returners, or HB lighting it up.
obviosuly, if we don't, that makes things much much harder.
i just don't see any 'sure things' in the transfer market, especially those that could come in, and be that much of a difference maker in an abbreviated off season with a new team and staff.
i think we're finally to the point where some consistency on the staff pays off.....
regardless of the rest of the scenarios you paint here...I see us at 9-3. losses to Oklahoma(though it will be close), Florida(gross) and one other. I think we beat one of Bama/Georgia and wind up in the Sugar bowl, primed for a SEC championship run in '21.
me niether. the QB debates this off season are going to be as toxic as ever. Here's to HB, BM, or JG having a breakout year. I won't really care which one takes over if they play at a high level.
Dangerous? LOL...gtfo. It's a fun thing to think about and could have been easily done, much easier than landing a spacecraft on the moon and transmitting a live video feed back to earth in 1969. When you don't question everything, that's what is dangerous.
I'm not sure I'm 10-2 just yet.

@Kristy*They call you that because of the sound that comes from the bathroom while you are in there.

Dang want to beat the socks off the Gators and the dogs, if we're losing 2 let it be OK and bama.regardless of the rest of the scenarios you paint here...
going to Athens in November with Gibbs and Mays, and all those GA kids, and beating the dawgs would be.......sahweeeeet. get goose bumps thinking about it.
Ha. I love a good conspiracy theory. I just prefer the ones that don't throw out awesome human achievements that are so easily verifiable.
There has been a lot written on the matter, and what some with knowledge of the subject have said is that it would have been easier to go there than to fake a film of it with 1960s technology. There are also the thousands who worked on the project, the thousands who witnessed the launches. There are the dozen that walked on the moon and the others that orbited.
And there's also the little USSR problem. The US was racing the Soviet Union at the time. To think the Soviets would have kept silent about a fake landing is absurd. They had the technology and telemetry capability to verify the journey. They would have loved to embarrass the US by catching them in a fake.
And, yes, dangerous from the standpoint that too many people are easily swayed by the tiniest "evidence" despite the overwhelming amount in the other direction. This problem is seen all over the place today.
Question things. Question lots of things, but don't give in to the crap conspiracies. At least save yourself for the good ones.
