What is Tennessee's
16th this season. 1 spot behind UF and 1 spot ahead Oregon.

We have been 12th-16th the last 5 years, but Butch's last class (2017) has dragged us down and will so 1 more year. We should be top-15 for the foreseeable future, if not top-12 beginning in 2020. Hopefully top-10 within 1-3 years, if things go right. From there, it's simply a rolling snowball hopefully.

As a grad transfer, I don't think Jones would have to be an initial counter and affect the class number.
Negative, ghost rider. Grad transfers, like all transfers, and all that sign scholarship papers in their first year, have to count as signees.

This article seems to say that they do count:

Quote from the article:

"A scholarship player signed out of high school counts as an initial. So does a junior college transfer. And so do transfers from four-year schools—be they undergraduates or graduate students. "

With Velus Jones and Cade coming, Broderick Jones no longer visiting, then it seems like its Beckwith and Hardy to round out the class.
I'm torn. Want Beckwith, but hoping staff sticks with Williamson's commitment after he took a dirty hit and injured. Think he's pretty good, just needs to get healthy.

Williamson’s gonna blueshirt. I think Miller is too, but that was before Cade was a reality.

Had a few on the jet? 😏

Interesting thread idea on VQ I thought I'd copy here.

Rank the best HCs in the SEC, by division. Not recruiting, just as a HC.

My vote:

East
1. Mullen
2. Pruitt
3. Stoops
4. Muschamp
5. Smart
6. Mason
7. Drinkwitz

West
1. Saban
2. Leach
3. Fisher
4. Orgeron
5. Kiffin
6. Malzahn
7. Pittman
Meh..

Interesting. I was just thinking about the "Senior Scholar-Athlete Award." Each institution can give 2 a year as post-graduate scholarships. The catch is the student athlete can only complete the season in progress at the time of the award. So, it would have to be like a blue-shirt, given after the season was underway.
