Ordinarily I'd agree, but there's a little matter of the quarterback. JG is, well, JG. Maurer is still a wild card and Bailey will be a true freshman. Not sure any of those options would really excite a WR looking to improve his draft stock.

^^^To add on, the 4 teams above us all won. #29 was Indiana, so we will clearly jump them.

#26-28 all lost.

From #20-25, USC and UVA lost.

So, it seems we should jump 6 teams by default (#28).

But...we were only 2 votes behind #30-33...so let's assume we jump those 4 with our P5 bowl win....#24 👀 I could see FAU staying ahead of us with their dominant win over SMU. The other 3 had easy G5 wins, so our margin of bowl victory may keep us out of it.

It seems hard to even fathom to my 1-4 UT mind, but the possibility is there...

Their Team Talent Composite is #23 👀

Average player an 87 rating.

4 straight top-27 classes going into next year. They haven't landed a class worse than 28th since 2014. They were a lot worse before then.

Just like UK, Ole Miss, and other bottom dwellers...this "SEC!" pride and success has lifted the worse off boats in our conference...and done damage to our relative position. Said it before...will say it again...EFF THE SEC.
