Agreed, even though he didn't do much at Nebraska, his highlights show really good acceleration and burst at a very good high school program in FL. I would rather take him than Velus with all things considered.

I get what you’re saying but I’m not sure I agree. He obviously didn’t get the feedback form the NFL that he wanted, so if he can come back and put 2 full healthy years together and show he has the Clots under control should greatly improve his draft stock. Plus I’m willing to bet he’ll have an insurance policy in place.

I don’t think anyone knows what feedback he has gotten Bc teams aren’t allowed to give medical exams on him or anything like that yet so all they have to go off of is he’s tape which is top 10 quality.

He’s coming back.

He had a full year of not having a single issue with his condition and put out a top 10 pick quality tape. If he comes back and has a flair up... his career is basically done.

If he goes and has a flair up, he gets put on IR and is paid for that.

Pretty much how i see it.

He had a great year and can play football.

But teams aren’t going to pick him until their doctors check him out pre draft. Until then I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t be “cleared.” And until he’s cleared, he’s not going to get a first round guarantee.

He’s coming back. Otherwise this announcement would be later in the process.
