I have said since 2015 that Trump could have someone blown to pieces in the middle of an airport tarmac and I’d still vote for him.

The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court presides as the judge over this trial and is guided by the before mentioned rules that were laid out. The Senate listens to whatever evidence there is and then votes to convict or acquit. The Senate is not responsible for gathering any evidence. They really aren't.

Comprehension isn’t your strong suit. Evidently my vote is why he was nominated and elected. I said people of your ilk is why he’d likely be re-elected. And no, your feelings do not matter.

Well this is a whole other debate.
Trump is horrendously despicable, far more so than Hillary.
BUT.....
I didn't support Hillary in the primary and wouldn't support Hillary if she was in this primary.
People who supported Trump in the 2016 primary are at greatest fault, along with people who worked to keep Trump unopposed in 2020.
