What someone perceives as an upgrade is subjective to that person. If they think it’s a better situation for them and their family it’s hard to be mad at them.

Ftr, I don’t think tee was ever going anywhere for that title probably just issuing it to get a little extra money which by all means go get it while you can. Not like we’re pinching pennies. I think he earned it this year. Our WRs were much better than last year.

I am not going to break it down into details to explain why leaving an 8-5 alma mater under Pruitt to Ole Miss under Kiffin is a sound move. It's all self-explanatory.

If he made that move, then it tells me Pruitt nudged him out, or he isn't the man for our job.

I agree...but apparently he’s already signed his letter and won’t be allowed to enroll till the summer or be allowed on scholarship for up to a year.apparently word from the dog pound is they are trying to steer him to A&M and keep him away from LSU..but I really hope tennessee reaches out to this kid and gets him on campus just to s**t on kirby even more

Ole miss has been more successful than us as of late so i think that could be debatable but Being at an alma matter isn’t as important to some people as others. It could look like a lateral move to you or me but to Tee for instance, he may think it’s not. He could be getting paid more, have more input/power, be recruiting coordinator or AHC or something like that. Tee could think his path to becoming a head coach could be better at a different spot or with a different title. You never really know what is important to some people or what they are actually being offered.

He’s already the AHC and PGC here. It would be a lateral move and isn’t really debatable.

If that’s what he does then so be it, but it would absolutely be a lateral move.
