LMAO squared.LMAO it was the houses job to gather and bring said evidence. Now who is the idiots?
It's been answered 100 times. Because they were trying to expedite the process.
They knew Trump was going to fight every subpoena and that the Senate would have more leverage.
LMAO squared.
They brought evidence. Enough to legitimately impeach Trump. The trial is the responsibility of the Senate.
The house did their job. Will the Senate do theirs? It looks as if they will try their damnedest not to.
Will the Trump leg humpers accept the Senate neglecting their sworn constitutional duties? Of course they will.
Maybe they should have let it play out over months and in the courts. Had they gone that route, we all know that the redhatted would be screaming about prolonging it into the election cycle for political reasons and that they would hold the vote if there was enough evidence. It was a judgement call. Why would it matter if what you are doing is right ? Instead of sniffing the political winds , I would think taking your time , doing it right , crossing your I’s and dotting your T’s would be what you’d be seeking instead of pushing it through .![]()

Either way, it has nothing to do with the Senate's duties of having a trial.
All McConnell has to do is say that the Senate will hold a legitimate trial. Instead he's publicly stated the opposite numerous times.....and yes, that is pure politics. The senate can’t have a trial until they get the paperwork . It’s kinda like the DA telling the judge and jury he won’t present the case until the court is ran the way he wants it to be ran . So what’s being done now is pure politics .
She has the leverage of not releasing the impeachment paperwork. That's why we're having this conversation. She has no leverage, none whatsoever. The longer she withholds the impeachment paperwork the worse it make the whole process and the Dems look.

Had she released the paperwork immediately, the Senate would have already acquitted with no trial.
Each day adds a little more pressure for at least a semblance of legitimacy.
Take Bolton's comments about his willingness to testify for example.
I call that leverage, but the term is not important.
That question has been answered, many times. Just let them testify and turn over the documents as requested, that's what a non-guilty Administration would do.
They're not my Democrats. I didn't vote for a single one of them. That being said, the trial is in the Senate, not the House. Stupid question? LOL...there's an illustration of you in the dictionary next to the word "stupid"Your Democrats in the house are responsible for throwing up their hands and taking their ball home.
And to answer your stupid question because he's the M..Fn president! For 5 more years
