Where I stand on Trump

I appreciate what you are saying and where I think you are coming from. You are happy with the state of the country and you don't see the need for changes to be made. I just don't believe that many of the positive developments for our nation's economy are the direct result of any of the policies which the Trump administration has set forth. Some (but not all) of the de-regulatory steps taken have served to bolster the stock market. I will give some credit for that, but he has overdone it, with de-regulation in many regards. The tax cuts have also helped the economy, but you shouldn't fail to mention that these cuts came in conjunction with a dramatic increase in government spending and expansion. That is not fiscally responsible and it will have consequences. Also, while you are decrying the ills of socialism, Trump's tariffs and subsequent subsidizing of the farming industry should be noted. That is a form of socialism, rarely cited by conservatives/Republicans... and Trump is an isolationist. That is not how we became a world power or how our position in the world will be maintained.

Finally, for the part I placed in bold, it is not always possible to separate Trump the person, from Trump the president. I don't believe that you have to be a partisan democrat to arrive at the conclusion that Trump was abusing the power of his office when he solicited the President of the Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, for a campaign favor (announcing an investigation into a potential opponent, Joe Biden). This clearly wasn't done to root out corruption in the Ukraine, or for the benefit of the United States or one of it's allies ... it's purpose was to assist Trump's chances of winning re-election. That constitutes an abuse of power.

LMAO read the transcript! And btw Archer Daniels Midland says hello.

Whatever the Democratic talking points are. Need a fair trial blah blah blah. A fair trial is not for the accuser in this country is for the accused. And with only hearsay evidence they know that have stepped in dog 💩 but to save face they can't back out now and I love it. We may finally be witnessing the end of the Democratic party. And the country will be better for it.

But the rise of the Progressive Democratic Socialist Party.

Two more meaningless counties. LMAO this states electoral votes are in the bank and there is nothing you can do about it.

Apparently someone didn't tell Bloomberg. I think even Steyer has reduced advertising here. Guess Bloomberg still hoping to herd the sheep.

Hey Einstein if they wanted them as witnesses in their open and shut case why didn't they just go to court and present their case? ...

That's right they have no case and you will sit back whine like a baby and enjoy the next 5 more years of winning BIGLY!
Show some maturity. Your post reads as though it was written by some smug juvenile. To answer the question, that would have taken several months. It took 7 months from the time White House counsel, Don McGahn, was subpoenaed, for a federal court to finally compel McGahn to testify before the House. The Democrats in the House didn't want the impeachment hearing to bleed into the 2020 election campaign. This is a political process, after all.

A counter question to that, would be, if Trump has done nothing wrong, why did the White House block John Bolton, Mick Mulvaney and Mike Pompeo from complying with their subpoenas and testifying before the House Oversight Committee? This obstruction and refusal to comply with subpoenas could serve as a bad precedent for future administrations to follow and make the essential feature of government oversight impossible. There will eventually be another President from the Democratic Party with a Republican-controlled House of Representatives. Good luck with ever getting a subpoena complied with after this.

What a coincidence. None testified before Congress.
Right... but they were all subpoenaed to appear and testify before the House Oversight Committee. On instructions from the White House, they refused to comply with their subpoenas.

And if that's the case then it's on Schift, Nadler, and Pelosi. They were the ones who promised without evidence for 3 years impeachment without any credible evidence. And the only reason they didn't want to wait for as you say 7 months is because they have zero. Nothing. Nada. End of discussion. They are hoping that by ramming this through in secret testimony the public will forget. Well guess what they won't. So you can join the rest of the intellectually weak can sit back and enjoy our country working as it should for the next 5 years and watching us win BIGLY.

Bloomberg is done. Actually he never got started but if he wants to help the economy by wasting millions of ad buys then go right ahead.

The testimonies of Fiona Hill, Ambassador William Taylor, Former Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch, Kurt Volker and Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman during the impeachment hearings before the House Oversight Committee weren't in secret. They were televised. I watched some of each.

That is what you want the end of the discussion to be. If Trump has done nothing wrong, then the White House should not have anything to fear with John Bolton, Mick Mulvaney and Mike Pompeo testifying. The White House counsel clearly did not want that to happen during the impeachment hearings ... nor did they even want to release the whistleblower's complaint to Congress in the first place, as is required by law.

Yes you are right and unlike you I saw exactly zero of them bring first hand account information evidence. Only hearsay. Everyone you noted were brought in by the Democrats and we shaken down in private down in the bunker before they would ultimately be out on the stand in public. Why is that? Also everyone you mention are anti Trump career diplomats. So try again with Nancy and Schift talking points. It's going to be a long 5 years for you and other week minded libs. Lol

And just because you don't like someone it doesn't give you the power to lob accusations against someone and hide behind the "well if they have nothing to hide why are they worried" nonsense.

All he needed was 3. And guess what he's leading in head to head matchups in those states again. 5 more years!
It probably depends on which polls you are talking about and in this case, it would also depend on which head to head candidate you were talking about from the Democratic Party, but.... I just checked Real Clear Politics and Joe Biden leads Donald Trump head to head in every current poll they are showing in both Michigan and Wisconsin... I couldn't find anything current for Pennsylvania. I'm sure you can find some poll such as Rasmussen Reports that is saying what you want it to say... but I just go with what is on Real Clear Politics.

That was absolutely the same course of argument that Trump took against the Obama administration, when they refused to comply with subpoenas during both the "Fast and Furious" and "Benghazi embassy attack" investigations.

Lol typical lib don't like evidence find "evidence" and surely you don't think Biden has any chance. How many more illegitimate grandchildren will uncle Joe amass between now and the election? How many times does Joe have to lose the nomination? But by all means keep up the good work.
