Brady is like Barry Bonds. Asterisk next to that GOAT title.

Montana, Manning , Favre, <insert favorite> never played on teams that were blatantly caught cheating multiple times let alone individually. If you ain't cheating, you ain't trying? Naw New England had an unbelievable run in an era of football with the greatest parity imo.

Eff Brady. Manning is my GOAT.

Very encouraging. The assessments of everyone else are fairly spot on. Got to tighten handle as he is not used to playing against this level of athleticism. Not super athlete but crafty with his movements with the ball. Deceptive with hesitation and change of direction. Best thing, he plays with confidence and bravado that the rest of the team lacks. Did want to clear up one thing I saw something say; he is a pretty big liability on defense. One poster was very complimentary of his defense. I am not sure what he was watching. He can't limit penetration. He is not very physical. Defense definitely not his strength.

This is it. Saw it exactly the same way. He will be developed well to overcome the weaknesses, but this year he will be spotty except with his shot. That's one sweet stroke taken with a lot of confidence. Needs to be helped more bringing the ball up until he figures things out. What he is today will be in the rear view next season and beyond. Barnes did good grabbing him.

Who do you all think we close with?
To answer that, I'd have to know who it is we're seriously pursuing, and I have no idea other than Hardy and Beckwith. A few guys I wish we would consider, but apparently not on the coaches' radar. They know what they want and need, so I'll roll with them, but there are always a few guys fans think would be great but for whatever reason coaches don't feel the same.

Brady is very good---one of the best---, but to say he's better than Peyton based on rings is ignorant and uninformed. Peyton is a better QB---MVP trophies suggest as much. He won a Super Bowl with two different teams. When Peyton was on the field, he was the OC. He was the best at adjusting and making the right audible call. Early in his career, he had no defense to speak of in Indy. Then, the defense came in both Indy and Denver, and the Super Bowl rings followed. Brady has had continuity and stability throughout his career. He's been with Belichick throughout. I think Brady is one of the best but I can't just give him the label of the GOAT because of the rings. Football is a team sport. I think Marino, Elway, and Peyton are better than Brady in my lifetime. I know that's probably an unpopular opinion but they all looked to be better overall.
I may be biased but I've thought this for years.. Agree with all your points..

NFL network did their top ten QBs. They also did a poll to see what they fans thought. Top 3 in order were actually Montana, Manning, and then Brady. You can think Manning is a better QB without orange colored glasses.

Bernard Pollard was on the Will Cain Show on Friday. He surprised Will by saying that Manning is his #1. He said you can rattle Brady but you couldn’t rattle Manning. Will asked why Manning had bad playoff games, and Pollard said because he had all of the control and could do what he wanted. Brady is more in a system. I believe Pollard said he only beat Manning once and that was late in his career. He beat Brady multiple times. Thought it was very interesting from an opponent who played in the secondary.

Grew up a Cowboys fan, but I can't stand Jerry Jones. Stopped cheering for them when he fired Jimmy Johnson. Now I mostly cheer for Vols in the NFL more than any particular team. But I like the Titans too because of proximity.
Do most Cowboy fans hate Jerry Jones? He's always meddled....

They still have fans so I don't know. His first strike for me was how he handled letting Tom Landry go. It was time, but I don't think he showed Landry the proper respect. Kind of like when we let Fulmer go. It was time, but it was handled poorly. Then, IMO he apparently felt like he was getting enough credit for the Cowboy's success so he got into a spat with Jimmy and fired him. Turned around and hired Switzer, who I never liked, and proceeded to run the team into the ground. He's made it impossible for me to cheer for the team I grew up cheering for alongside my dad, and that really sucks.

I used to think “and my second favorite team is” people were the worst kinds of sports fans. But I find myself slowly adopting FSU as a team I root for.

That said it’s not because I gaf about Fsu outside of how beneficial a strong FSU is to Tennessee. Plus my clemson hate.
