Like the football team, I expect Barnes’ team to improve as the year goes on. This team has a lot of chemistry to build, but athleticism is there. I expect for them to finish around .500 in SEC play this year, but for them to be a contender next year.

Bowden is a very good role player. He can’t be the focal point.

He’ll help, but unless Emerson and/or Gooden go down with injury he’s useful depth.

I think he will be a situational guy. Seemed like that was the case this year before he almost reached his 4 games.

Also, don’t know if anyone has noticed but the reason our defense has been much improved is our ability to be able to switch guys out on the DL and in the Secondary without losing much production.

I think Barnes needs to bring Bowden off the bench as 6th man for next couple games to see how he responds.

Santiago will cut down his turnovers as he goes along. MUST get better defensively. Can’t let offense effect your defense. Bowden get out of his slump and we get to the FT line we will be fine. Good news..all of those are fixable.

wow, we haven't been able to shoot consistently for weeks. Way too many turnovers for this team... the combo spells L's until it gets under control... I think we will improve, but this season is just a wash/learning/building for next year. We will have some serious talent with the Frosh coming in and Uros and Vescovi...

Vescovi not redshirting should help us next year. Good to get him experience. Just going to have to pretend this year never happened and keep building up JJJ, Vescovi, and the rest of the new guys for next season. Hopefully some of the freshmen we got coming in next year will be instant impact too.

Kinda like the opposite of our qb situation. Having the pg coming in mid way will benefit next year’s team immensely. Ot
