Butch can't get a job, Jancek fired again and now this. yep best staff in America, the joke continues!

Eastern Kentucky (FCS): Former head coach Mark Elder has been named head coach at Cincinnati Moeller HS (OH).

Agree on the BSIA joke, it was ridiculous when he said it and even more so today. Botch was nothing but a bad salesman. On Elder, if you are going to finish out your career at a HS, he just landed one of the best gigs in America. Moeller has been a traditional powerhouse and feeder to ND and B1G for many years.

How am I selling him short? Because I mentioned third and Chavis? Even at the top of his game, that was criticized. He was a hell of a DC, but an even better LB coach. He coached up a lot of great LBers including Al Wilson, Raynoch Thompson, and Leonard Little. I'm not selling him short at all. I have great admiration for the guy, and would love for him to come home to the TN family in some capacity. I think he would make an excellent analyst/consultant/whatever you want to call it.
You threw the typical “Third and Chavis” shot out and proceeded to say he was a great linebacker coach, so it seemed like you were selling him short. Which is disrespectful. Kind of like how people say Fulmer was a great offensive line coach and they stop there. No, he was a great line coach, coordinator, and ultimately a great head coach.

Think you’re selling Chief short a little bit there. In his heyday with Tennessee and LSU he was one of the top defensive coordinators in the game. Put several great defenses on the field at both schools. Hated to see his career end the way it did at A&M and Arkansas. Should have especially never taken the Arkansas job.

I think the game passed him by a little. Also, he needs ELITE talent to be successful.

People can have opinions different from yours without it being disrespectful.

Who doesn’t in this league? You could place some of the best defensive minds in football in that Arkansas situation last year and they wouldn’t be any better.
Didn’t do much at A&M with a generational talent in Myles Garrett.

You realize kitchen’s has NOT coached college ball in 15 years and wasn’t known as a recruiter. Can do much better than him IMO if CTM does leave
I know. He's a name in the NFL and does have a good resume (NOT as a HC). Worth kicking the tires over, maybe.
