I mean, I'm obviously not smart enough to run a major league baseball team, but if you are willing to go 4/$100 for Donaldson, then why not go 7/$250 for Rendon? Donaldson will be 37 in the final year of the deal, Rendon would be 36. Just thinking out loud.

If/when JD resigns, Braves get stronger and Nationals are left with a hole to fill. Cubs have been asking for Victor Robles as part of any deal for Bryant.
