He was there with Mullen for a couple yrs and one with Morehead. He does have ties and recruited well in Mississippi for the Peay.

I don’t think Bill Clark ever leaves UAB. He stayed through the whole no program period to protect his Alabama state retirement. I have a feeling he stays there until he retires. He’s one of those rare coaches that’s good, but not ambitious for the spotlight, just enjoys what he’s good at.

They wanted to redshirt him so that he could learn the plays.

They don’t have the ability to do that now so he will be learning on the fly. This kid is absolutely legit.

Not sure who Mississippi State thinks they are firing a guy two years in at a historically terrible program. Doubt they find anyone better.

They are looking for new hope. Hope sells tickets. Good friend of mine who is a MSU alum said the stadium would be half full next year. His offense was not as good as they thought.
