He moved it immediately. Moving it that soon wasn’t going to get them to jump imo
I would tend to agree, but those quick huddles and snaps are meant to catch a defense off-guard. A play is normally run. But, in this instant, I wondered if they were trying to act like a quick snap but trying to force the DL to jump.
I'm not totally sure, but I am not convinced that we were running a play.
The entire string of posts (from MULTIPLE posters) was centered around a generic discussion of development vs recruiting.Nope...you can keep belittling all you want, but what I said is still true.
Who in that analogy are the donkeys that our pathetic recruiting staff are getting instead of thoroughbreds?
I think the staff recruits very well considering everything, and I think they develop even better..
The best Butch Jones thing is that it’s been all downhill from this exact moment.

Unless it worked...then it’s genius. Same thing with going for it instead of taking the points at the beginning of the game. Remember Butch taking heat for not going for the TD against Oklahoma on the 1. It’s always about what you didn’t do. Except in this case when it’s uncertain what they were going to do and we’re revisionist second guessing. Then it means we we’re going for it for sure and that’s dumb
Bruin! You can’t just make up stats! I’m a guy who values your opinion. But come on....
Converting the 4th down either by getting the yard or drawing them offsides 100% wins the game. Guess we’ll never know what you’re fretting over.I think it’s clear the best chance for Indiana to have won at that point was for us to go got it and not make it.
Punting them deep was going to be very difficult for them to drive the field in such a short time
You disagree ?
