Really like the way the substitutions and crucial play calling are handled with this staff. Things like the management of JG, bringing JJ in with the wildcat for the crucial 3rd down, going back to Crouch after the Bama debacle for the score at the goal line. It's a coaching finesse we haven't seen in awhile.

Seems like an embattled Butch move to me. He may be very good, but it’s a flimsy resume at this point. Need a very experienced recruiter moreso than a guy just mentioned in tweets.

i agree mostly, but HT, EG, Crouch, Wright, Wayna and other freshman that played at a high level this year are just talented before much development has been done. Some athletic ability can’t be taught.

QB situation next year. With Bailey coming in and hopefully taking over at some point (tough for a true freshman), I personally would like to see us keep Maurer and Shrout, let JG go to Rutgers and maybe look for a Grad Transfer. Not sure what the deal is with Hill, will he ever play here or just take up space. I think the upside for Maurer and Shrout is way better than JG. I don't think I could take another year of JG playing QB at UT.

Gray, black, anthracite, white.... the bright Orange looks terrible on my pale skin tone. But still have to rep the Vols!!

If Bailey in the Spring plays anything like he did at the end of his High School Season it is going to be hard to keep him off the field. He is the real deal. I think Shrout will stay and I believe JG will transfer. Shrout can probably graduate after next year and go to a different college as a Grad Transfer with 2 years I believe.

i thought Jordan got a lot better from last year.

they just split the carries a lot differently this season. Chandler is just a tweener. he has more "athlete" in him than Jordan, but not quite the same puch...but not as much "athlete" as Gray.

Gray....i know it's getting old....but man...he really has a tone of potential. can't wait to see how he develops.
