Lord. Cracker Barrel food is awful. EVERYTHING from a can or premix! It is NOT Country Cooking and it is NOT like Grandma's. No thanks to the instant food GMO crapola. Noticed the patrons? Trunk Junk. Sorry ; but I keep it real in everything. PC out the window. People need to start eating Home Scratch cooking and Organic or Non GMO foods. Garbage in, garbage out.

@Behr I had the chef salad. Hubby wanted greens and black eyed peas (tradition ya know.)

Since all our grandparents are dead, and I can't cook in my car on the freeway, we made the logical choice. 😁

I stand by my assessment. Junk Food. It is NOT "Cooking from scratch" as advertised. I KNOW the restaurant business. Buy the Cheapest and HYPE it. Sorry if I offend. The Truth often does these days.

Folks need to remember their Grandparents' home cooking. That is the best food ever. 90% of Restaurants are about the $$ not quality. Very Few "Catfish Restaurants" actually serve CATFISH! (Sway from Asia---ala Cracker Barrell) RED LOBSTER (and Most others) serves Nasty Farm Raised Asian Shrimp! Very Few "Steakhouses" actually serve USDA CHOICE BEEF ( LONGHORN among them) We are being fed Junk. (Exceptions noted, but FEW) . Learn to cook and work it in your schedule. You will live healthier and longer. I learned from restaurant Management; so yes, I'm qualified. And I tell it like it is, knowing some will take exception. I can't worry about that.

I honestly don't remember ever having anything other than breakfast there. I love the canned eggs and premixed sausage.

Not sure how you can eat that canned lettuce and premixed tomatoes, but you gotta do what you gotta do since EVERYTHING is CANNED or PREMIXED.

Lol, some people crack me up. Its funny when they brag and build themselves up to be better than you, and even funnier when they put you and others down to make them seem better, but when they go full blown and do both? I'm amazaed those kind take the time to mingle with us low lifes.
