The more I found and read up on DW's interviews in the past up til now, I'm starting to waiver a little on my VOL prediction....I found an article where he said he had kept in touch with Coach Hartley every week from an August interview and I swear it sounds like he says the same things he has also said about Coach Nieds....At this point I dont know if this kid is trolling or like most have said he's a dawg....guess we will see today!!!

I would like DW to become a Vol but we can still fill our needs with the slots left. Wren, Beckwith , Hardy and whoever will help us out long term just as much as DW. GBO!

Having said that.....it’s a message board. Believe him or don’t. It’s not going to change anything. If your feelies got hurt because someone on a message board got you excited and they we’re wrong, then that’s more of a you problem.

You don't really think that, do you? Just like any other message board there will be that 5-10% of glass half empty folks or who have an agenda which will fit your "melt down" characterization. No doubt, opposing fans will come in, cut and paste those stupid comments on their boards, saying the other team's boards are in "melt down" mode. The 5-10% speak doom and gloom basically because their sorry little egos are hurt that one team, a rival, got a player they wanted and now they can't talk smack about them. I've found it really has very little to do with the player. If Georgia gets him, you may even see some fans on our board congratulate DW for his choice and wish him the best. Imagine that? He's one player that ultimately won't make much difference as a TE in determining wheteher any team wins all or most their games. In fact, I'd be willing to wager all the teams that don't get DW will be just fine, including Georgia if your program is "rejected". If you took some time to look at the total count of pages and sampled about 10 or so, you'd see the vast majority here are having fun with posting. Heck, probably over 2/3 of the posts in the last 150 go 200 pages have been about non DW stuff. I hope we get him, but it's not a huge need on our team as much as defensive line depth is a need.

I would miss him on field goal block team. Great player but TE is not a program changing position.

I agree with you, I just wanted that big target so bad because I know Chaney would use him and for sure JG would throw his short passes to him, I dont see how he could miss him!!!!!
