Hey, Pepe has a new avi....

I am really excited about our DL class. Bailey, Big O, and Baron have potential to be elite. Add Hardy in there and we are looking at a monster DL recruiting class.

How did Clemson get to where they are? DL and QB. Really hope we’re about to follow that mold
Minue the douche

Bet they lose the sponsor this year

They just announced a new title sponsor last week for the next 5 years. MC Bowl got screwed this year with a bad matchup. Two boring teams that only their fan bases care about that also don't travel very well. Most years they get at least 1 decent team that travels well that casual fans also may be interested in seeing. Auburn, LSU, Notre Dame etc. Or Kentucky who brings a big crowd.

Perry too. Also got the monster Simmons redshirting among others. Looks promising going forward.

I read somewhere the pressure from MCB to get UT was due to Franklin American Mortgage threatening to leave.

From today's practice report:

Elsewhere, Ty Chandler was moving pretty well Monday. The junior tailback didn’t record a carry against Vandy after battling an ankle injury the last few weeks of the season.

Also, RB coach David Johnson was absent from practice after a death in the family. Johnson is expected to return from Louisiana tomorrow.

Still not relevant to the point that Mike Leach college QBs sling the ball around Hanky.

Also for what it's worth, there's only been one Tennessee alumni QB that has passed for 3k or more yards in the NFL in the entire history of our program.

It’s absolutely relevant. A lot of QBs can put up big numbers in a QB friendly offense... that doesn’t mean their good. Minshew has shown that he’s more than that and could possibly end up being a legitimate starting QB in the NFL. We literally have not had one of those since 1998.

If you want to take the next step as a program which would be winning 8-10 games next year and think our QBs from last year can get us there, then great. I hope you’re right.

I think think it’s worth taking a shot on a transfer/grad transfer virtually every year unless you have a clear cut starter for the foreseeable future. You probably are gonna get depth, but you could get something special. You’re signing ~25 guys a year in which a handful of them are never going to play one minute or end up transferring anyway so you might as well use a spot on it. It’s a low risk - high reward play imo.
