So funny thing, I’m in Jacksonville (Fernandina Beach) but not for the game, but a cruise (don’t judge me, it was free so I had to take it!).
Anyway, when we checked in, we noticed all of these “Welcome IU” signs everywhere. We kept wondering “Where are all of the welcome UT fans signs?” As it turns out, my friend booked our stay at the same complex where the IU football team is staying!
One of my friends even gave a Go Vols! to a coach’s wife without realizing who it was. 😂 It was weird seeing the IU coaching staff lounging around the pool area. I was tempted to drop some eaves lol
In any case, I made sure to flaunt my UT gear.

Ok so I'd like to get an idea of how many people would want to come by and have some free hot dogs and bratwurst, snacks and drinks so I know about what to buy if we decide tonight to do this. We want to keep it simple by doing just hot dogs and brats, don't really want to do burgers now. I'll have plenty of water, soda, adult drinks too. Can i get some sort of head count RSVP of some of you that may wanna stop by Lot P? We would like to do this for Volnation Folks, and even Indiana fans who may be lurking here. Lot P, corner of E Adams St and back end of lot J like 3pm until 530pm.

OJJones, My crew will stop by your spot. I'm going to bring some beer and spirits from local breweries and distilleries from here in Greenville, SC. I would like to bring you a bottle to show my appreciation for your hospitality. Do you have a preferred liquor? Also, I'm sure we will eat some brats and dogs. My sister is a vegetarian, so we will bring her something to throw on the grill if you have it fired up.

Bringing 2 tailgate grills. I do have some rum, bourbon and a surprise bottle of something we'll take a shot and toast with. I'm mostly a bourbon guy. You don't have to though, but that's very kind.
