So? Pete Carroll is the same age I believe.

But has also already been back in the league since 2010.

Also I think Pete's always preferred the NFL to college, and his experience reflects that. That 8 year stop at USC was the only college experience he had since 1984. Saban is the opposite it seems that stop at Miami was his first NFL gig since 94 with the Browns.

I think Matt Rhule is going to be the Cowboys new coach.

Doubt Jerry pulls the trigger on a single season performer. If he does end up with Rhule it's because 2 or 3 other names said no and/or because he wants another doormat/yes-man like Garrett is.

I fully expect Jerry goes after Riley and/or Urban.

Its wishful thinking. Tired of seeing that midget on the Bama sideline. Ready for them to get knocked down a couple of pegs regardless if hes on the sideline or not.

I’m just messing around. I don’t think he leaves though. Carroll was much younger when he transitioned. But Pete Carroll is not relevant. Different folks. Different strokes.

I met his high school coach on Friday. Cool guy and he spoke very highly of Tank. They run a similar scheme to ours so he said the transition for Tank was much easier. His words... He said HB was supposed to go to Hillgrove but was happy for him doing well at Marietta. Cool story bro, I know.

Dude has had more than one season of success.

I mean it's Jerry Jones wasn't like Jason Garrett had any success as a HC when he was hired. Maybe he takes a chance on a 47-42 career coach with zero ties to Dallas, I mean he was an OL assistant for the Giants that one year too, that has to count for something...right?

Honestly I'd project Rhule to the Giants over the Cowboys, if he leaves college which I'm not entirely sure he will.

Rhule being at Baylor is the only reason he gets mentioned I think, he's originally from New York and has spent the majority of his professional career in the northeast. I don't see him having the ties to Jones or Dallas strong enough for Jones to hire him.

Garrett played at Dallas, then was their OC for 4 season before being named the interim and then HC.

Giving Witten the HC job would be one of the worst moves imaginable

Not worse than letting Jerry Jones be the Judge, Jury, and executioner of your franchise. The guys ego has single-handedly ruined America’s team for a lot a people. Personally, I don’t give two shi$$ about what happens to the cowboys, but I do find their constant mediocrity while the mainstream media forces them down our throats highly humorous.
