Unfortunately for the most part freshman aren’t going to get you to elite either, unless your recruiting them at the level that duke and Kentucky do, even then most of the time it doesn’t work out. Those same people will be the ones using youth as an excuse next year.

We need guys that can create their own offense. Springer can do that for sure. Possibly even Johnson too. Vescovi and possibly Bailey are able to control the offense. And we have a 7 footer waiting to play.

Again, you forget where we were 5 years ago. I understand coaching should get blame, but Barnes’ success has spoiled people. He just developed 3 nba draft picks and needs time to develop this freshmen class. Bowden has regressed, and Turner is out.
