Definitely. Barbaro was a rarity in his day, but he was very good. Years ago I was in an 8-person league with some friends playing the old APBA football game and I drafted Barbaro to my team. We used to do the same with APBA Baseball.

No, I don't remember anyone really thinking a lot about him. I remember everyone hating on Kurt Roper, who was brought in as RB coach at the same time. I think Roper was the one that said he forgot to put Montario Hardesty into a game against Bama I believe. I think Luke had a reputation as a poor recruiter from what I remember.

Then Roper went to SC and was awful.
