Awesome. I would like to do that. Probably next house. Did you pour the blocks and put a concrete lid on it?Purchased the door for the room. This is when I first placed it.

Anyone seen the witcher? It didn't look interesting to me but people keep saying it's great and comparing it to GoT.
While laying the foundation I went ahead and made the gun room out. It sits below my mudroom which is a concrete floor. The gun room is blocked in and also has steal beams above. I recently finished the inside with drywall and going to place peg board up on the walls.Awesome. I would like to do that. Probably next house. Did you pour the blocks and put a concrete lid on it?
Just read the post before mine on how you did it. I did something similar for our basement. Had poured walls, and had ~250 sq ft of wasted space under my front porch, so installed metal grating to pour my porch on, and had a door formed in the poured wall. Have my safe door, but haven’t installed it or finished the room yet. Same concept tho! Well done!!Purchased the door for the room. This is when I first placed it.

Sweet. We’re drawing up plans for our house and I’m torn between putting the safe in our master closet which will also be a storm shelter/panic room or putting it in the shop. While laying the foundation I went ahead and made the gun room out.
