I don’t have any Vol fan friends 😞

IF we land Hardy and DW, is this class better than last years?
probably "feelz" better if we get those two guys since they're both big ?'s right now....other than HT and Crouch, i don't think there were too many HUGE surprises......

but to be honest, i think this class is deeper than last year's. last year's will have more at the top regardless....i think?

but top to bottom, i think this class is a lot deeper, no matter what happens with Hardy or Washington.

I think this class feels better because the team as a whole feels better. Certainly it’s easy to see how the defense gets better just from what we had before ESD. Now it feels like we’re on the cusp of having true depth. Offensively, we’ve lacked consistent QB play and speed on the outside. Also, I think the coaches are still trying find someone to fill that bruiser back spot for short yardage. Overall, there seem to be fewer holes which this class addresses.

I’ve been hearing from various sources a lot of hype surrounding Kentucky’s defensive line haul in this recruiting class. After comparing signees and commitments (and expected commitments) to date for the more significant opponents on our schedule I think what the narrative leaves out is that sure this is an impressive defensive line class for Kentucky being that they are Kentucky. The fact is that the average for their defensive line class this cycle, for the moment, ranks last among the teams listed and would still rank last even if by some chance we didn’t end up signing Hardy.

All those numbers say is that the SEC is full of really good defensive linemen. There's not enough separation there to make much of a difference. Development is gonna be what separates the men from the boys.

And yet I feel so guilty!
I'm 5'11" and have weighed 225-235 for almost my whole adult life. I started tracking calories, eating little to no breakfast (more coffee less food), and trying to stay within about 2000 calories daily. Also, I've been putting in about an hour on the treadmill each day. Down to 196. And it isn't really that hard. And so what if you have a bad day, just pick back up where you left off.

burn more than you eat. let me know when you want to send me that check.

If you eat smaller portions, be sensible and workout often and well, you will be just fine. Tracking food isnt worth the time and energy.

Agree. I eat fairly healthy and work out 3-5 times per week for about 30-45 each time. I enjoy rum regularly and other food indulgences when I want. My doctor was amazed at my blood work.

man we are gonna miss Bituli more than anybody next year.
that's a tough one. more than anybody?

taylor....jennings...bitulli...i think you could argue for any of the three. the only reason i might go with either of the other two is because of HT....he should slide in to Bitulli's role pretty well.

i don't know we have anyone in the WR corp with the competitive nature JJ has.
and edge rushers.....there's potential for a guy like Harrison, but Taylor was a guy offenses had to account for...

tough one.

No one can fill Bituli's shoes next year. Toots will do well but that is a huge ask of a sophomore.

this. my problem is sticking with it. i had more weight to lose than you, but did drop almost 40lbs this year.

but man...sticking to the routine long enough to get down to that target weight...that's the hard part. i was doing fine til Football season started....lol.

needless to say, need to get back to the routine. lol.

a usual soph i would agree. i think he's already proven to be "unusual" in that regard. he's got a super football iq, and he's picked up the defense already. a full off season in the s&c etc....i think he'll be fine. that said, i do realize you can't replace DB's experience....past that though, i think HT has everything else you're wanting for that position.

Plus Bituli had Toots next to him and that was huge, next year?

well, i think that's another reason why Toot is gonna be fine....got a full year of training with the incumbant before he takes over.....

Crouch moves to the other MLB spot.....i think?

no clue, that is the big question mark. hence why Bituli moving on is scary af.
