Went to titans game and have a few questions about what I thought was awful coaching regarding challenges

We know the challenge where thomas never had the ball wAs dumb


1) did Corey davis left knee hit in bounds on the long throw that MikeV didn’t challenge ?


2) wasn’t their a challenge left and why didn’t mikeV use it on the fumble ?

1. elbow hit out of bounds before knee was down

2. I would assume he couldn’t risk loosing another timeout in that situation if he lost the challenge. Which he would of lost it was a for sure fumble.

Thanks. I only saw the quick replay and missed the elbow hitting first

Imo that fumble ended the game and had to be challenged if you felt it had any chance to be overturned.

Did you think it was a clear catch ?

Do y’all have an “all things TN sports” text thread with you’re friends?? Just curious... I do and there’s as much comedy gold in there as there is in here... 😂😂😂 We have 2 rules: you can say anything you want in the thread and you can cuss without fear of condemnation. 😆🤷🏽‍♂️ It’s awesome. Especially during the coaching searches and last year’s tournament run.

It was. Also knocked dude cold, you could see his arms go limp.

absolutely. Even the tv ref they go to in these situations said catch and fumble. He had clear possession of the ball with 3 feet hitting the ground and dunked for brace of impact. They called it two feet down and 2 additional Football moves on the broadcast. He would of lost challenge

That first challenge was still dumb but sounds like my other complaints were wrong

yes I agree on first challenge. Vrabel does some dumb stuff man. I feel like he is growing a little as a head coach, but I feel like he still has a long way to go. The thing he has going for him is his players. They seem to all love playing for him. That’s half the battle
