I was told by a Marietta parent that HB and Washington were together every chance they had while Marietta was playing in Vegas. I triedto pry it out of a coach and not 1 would utter one thing about Washington to TN.

Like the sound of that, after about throwing the towel in after the latest CBs to GA, but not sure if they are not getting jobbed by DW. Was fearing they would not react without something real solid.

I know everyone said he signed, but did anyone say it had actually been delivered to the school he signed with?

There is so much to this post:

1.) HB and DW spent a lot of time together. These two more than likely have had few run ins in the past.
2.) There was zero reason for DW to go to the game besides seeing HB.
3.) The coaches did not utter 1 thing about DW to UT but also did not utter DW not going to UT. If the kid wasn’t going I’d say a coach would at least hint at a no.

Got my weekly Screen Time update this morning and said my average screen time was 7 hrs daily(I do have a job)! I’ve been glued to this forum, if we don’t get him I’ll probably end up needing counseling!!

We have Jackson Lowe and Sean Brown as RS Freshmen next year. Both were 4* iirc, and Jackson dominated the O&W game last year as an EE. We will be fine with or without a TE in this class imo.

It is easy to forget about the quality recruits from last year.

If DW has signed.........JUCO TE is a possibility I guess. I only see two on 247 that are uncommitted/unsigned.

Yes, we will be Ok without Washington. He might even grow another couple of inches and add 30 pounds which would probably means he outgrows the TE position and become a DL option.

Then past them hanging out in Vegas the only time these two would conceivably cross paths in the future would be once a year on the ball field. That seems to be like a lot of time to spend hanging out with someone if you’ve never really hung out with them before and are basically never going to hang out again.

This was developing a friendship for future teammates fellas!
