why is it odd? he hasn't publicly signed. They may have been asked not to mention him by name.

One school got his LOI yesterday. That school and the other 2-3 schools know who got it. Tennessee doesn’t need to take a TE this cycle. They got two last cycle. You just can’t pass up a talent like Darnell. UGA desperately needs a TE. They have nobody after Woerner, especially after missing on Arik and Theo.

The fact that UGA has pursued no other TEs and hasn’t sent out any new offers since yesterday, tells you all you need to know.

The fact the you imply that a Georgia poster knows where he has signed and isn't telling anyone to honor the wishes of a recruit is nearly the dumbest thing I have ever read on here or anywhere for that matter. IF he signed yesterday, it would have leaked either from the team that signed him or the teams that were pursuing him and didn't land his signature. It wasn't just UGA/UT. The entire premise of this is utterly ridiculous

Well for one, Neids is very close with Darnell. There's mutual respect there. Even if he didnt choose us, Neids would still respect his decision to keep quiet. 2nd, that insider who leaked just shot themselves in the foot and just kissed their insider status goodbye.

so many Vol fans have battered wife syndrome. You deserve better, we deserve better. Stop accepting less than. No one really knows where he signed. We will all know on 1/2/20....until then, let's focus on the bowl game and the new commits. Or you can Christmas shop....

The sooner you come to terms with the fact that there are very few if any insiders on this board will make your life much easier. IF an "insider" were informed of a signing then logic would suggest that he or she would have not been the only "insider" to be told said information. The chances of that leaking to just an anonymous message board is nearly zero.

he has said that he would announce on 1/2/20....that's like asking for your paycheck two weeks before you're suppose to get it.

i figured Hubbs would at least say that darnell has asked us to respect his wishes etc..... but to act like he doesnt exist or we didnt pursue this prospect just seems weird to me

Not sure why anyone is arguing that he signed somewhere or didnt.............................the winner of that fight in this forum will have nothing to do with what this kid does.

what can they say about him? There are 21 other guys that signed LOI. You want them to focus on someone that has not even signed.

If they don't know anything, are they supposed to make things up and piss of our staff and the recruit too? Maybe that's why he wasn't mentioned? These guys rely on those connections for their 9.99 a month. You don't risk burning those bridges.

There are a few "insiders" on this board, but an insider isnt God and things change up until the moment a signing is completely done and announced.
