The Speaker has done her job in the House , she has no say in the other equal branch on this matter as to how it is ran . She can cry and screech about it all she wants but that’s as far as it goes .MM can sit in the Senate and give her the bird , while telling her to hold it or send it , either way your part is done .

I wasn't implying confessions under duress or coercion. I was considering the folks who randomly confess to things they didn't do. But you bring up a good point about it.

In reply to your second paragraph; It probably doesn't surprise you, then, when I say I never assume statements are true when made by politicians or those in the legal system.

No, there would have been zero benefit for him to provide Mulvaney to the house for testimony. The recommendations of the intel and judicial committees were a foregone conclusion from the start so there was no reason to participate.

I've said multiple times I want them all to testify at the Senate trial, I hope it drags out for months with witness after witness. The White House thought the house hearings were meaningless due to the outcome being predetermined so why participate.

Only an idiot would think they literally change votes, I've never seen anyone but the irrational and trump army foist this strawman. Rational people understand that the memes were are meant to entrench stereotypes and sow division, they work all too well.

While you were under a rock, this forum has thousands of posts in a thread dedicated to reinforcing fakenews, disinformation and bias. Many people here don't have the intellectual capacity to take the memes at hyperbolic face value and instead are conditioned to believe them without a second thought.
