When this fella said Sunday evening that he came for this visit to just get away and kinda take a vacation made me think we aren’t who he’s picking. Hope I’m wrong but it seems he wasn’t serious about us and he already knew where he was going.

Other teams coaches could no longer contact him per NCAA rules so they would have to know.

I'd think that the NCAA must have a mechanism to let the other schools know, so that they don't commit inadvertent violations by continuing to recruit him. And once they know, it may be pretty hard to keep secret.

I think silence from AV right now speaks volumes. If something had happened different than what he’s been telling us for months, he would have dropped in to subtly let us know that things changed in the past 24 hours. His silence is a very good thing IMO.

I don’t like the guy but he can recruit. I don’t see how Washington works in their system unless they do an overhaul.

He’ll block most Saturday’s and get a few chances when they really need it.

If DW signed with someone, he could sign privately and not notify the other team until he announces. So in theory, that team could be wasting 3 weeks waiting on his decision and not recruiting a replacement. Right or wrong?

He either hasn’t signed or likely both teams already know and are both keeping it quiet out of respect for him. Which if it was us Kirby would already be crying about it. Can’t contact a kid that’s already signed. Let’s hope he hasn’t signed yet.

That's what I don't understand. There is no way you're not going to know if he sent in papers and are not talking to you.

They had been talking about more to come and none of the recruits we got today were shockers. We knew pretty well that the kids we have right now were going to sign. So, I believe DW signing with UT is the real shocker.

See above ^^^^. Also note that I could be completely wrong. However, makes no sense for him to go to UGA over UT as a Tight End. We are losing our starter and need someone who can fill in immediately and that is DW. He would start day 1.
