Kirby was in Atlanta this year, has been in Atlanta in 3 of his 4 years there and has had top recruiting classes every single year. Isaac Nauta is in the NFL now and Chaney used him quite nicely during his few years at UGA.

We are not saying he’s better than you Mark.Just chill.

Doesn’t matter if he made it to Atlanta, still put up a pathetic effort against LSU and choked big time by a lesser talented SC team. Kirby is beating the same teams that we are, taking advantage of an weak SEC East. Only difference is, Pruitt walked into a big time sh*tty situation while Kirby walked into a gold mine with one of the most talented rosters in the country.

And Chaney isn’t at Georgia anymore so not sure how he’s going to be able to use their TE’s in Coley’s offense?

Kirby is an easy coach to negative recruit right now.

Nauta has 2 catches in his NFL career, both of them for the Detroit Lions this season, for a grand total of 13 yards. Your claim that you have to be huffing paint (or some such substance) to think that Tennessee has a shot with Darnell Washington, who has visited Tennessee 6 times already, was just a dumb thing to say and you never supported it with anything directly related to Washington either. It was pure conjecture based on the perceived strength of Georgia's program compared to Tennessee. Now, Tennessee may not sign him. He may indeed, choose Georgia, but your comments have been over-the-top to an arrogant extent.

Except Harrison Bailey is the crown jewel, no matter if DW signs or not.
gave it a like. cause w/out DW, i think HB is the man that takes us places in the not too distant future, at QB. he'll lead this team.

but DW....he's a ridiculous match up problem for defenses....game changer, day 1 starter....all that stuff.

How was Fulmer ever able to recruit by having a losing record in the SECG including the biggest flop to date with the LSU loss in 2001?

Effective recruiters.

I said that "other teams have effective recruiters too". We have Nieds as our big time recruiter. UGA/Bama/LSU and TX A&M to a lesser extent have 2-3 Nieds on their staffs......plus the first three listed are winning at a big time clip while we are trying to sell beating USCjr, Missouri, KY and Vandy as some great improvement....which it is to us. But when you go against the big boys that is a hard sell.

No they don’t, they have a lot of instate talent. Georgia, Texas A & M, LSU, and Alabama have very fertile recruiting grounds which makes them look like “great” recruiters. We are at a major disadvantage from the start. Clemson would be a better example for the point you are trying to make. UT is situated in East Tennessee which produces very few elite prospects, neither does Southern Kentucky, Western Virginia, or Western North Carolina on average. Dallas/Ft. Worth and Atlanta produce more elite recruits than the entire state of Tennessee as does South Alabama and Northern Florida.

Because UGA has 3 Nieds on there recruiting staff and they are a juggernaut right now that can point to wins/SEC East Championships and playing in the CFP's and NY6 bowls. Can also point to how their offense struggled with no legitimate TE threat this year and how they got Nuata drafted.

It's like some people don't realize that other teams have effective recruiters too.

Never implied they didn’t also have good recruiters, nor did I imply that we would land Washington. Just stated that it was ridiculous to think we don’t have a chance. A chance? Are you freakin kidding me?

Y’all can keep giving Kirby your lunch money so he doesn’t stuff you in your lockers all you want, but I refuse to have the defeatist attitude that runs rampant among too many on this board.

f*** GEORGIA

WHICH MEANS HE WOULD TURN WASHINGTON INTO A PRO PROSPECT AT TENNESSEE
Which is what Tennessee is selling while UGA is selling how we cant beat Ga State and how they have outscored us 122-26 the past 3 years.

Do you understand effective recruiters make prospects believe anything they want? Fulmer was a master at it and Kirby is very good at it as well.

Hate he is going to UGA but oh well.

  1. Tells everyone (Twitter) that he's turning his phone off until he signs.
  2. Says his mind is made up...he's not signing tomorrow.
  3. Tweets a pen and paper (had to turn his phone on to do that)
I think he changed his mind and signed today. IMO, there's no way in hell this stays a secret for even 24 hrs. if that's the case.
would make sense if keeping it a secret isn't as important as we've been led to believe. lol.

who knows.

Lost the argument with the Ga State comment. Good job.
