The Atlanta Braves Thread

Unbelievable. GM took over 7-9 team and HC took over a 9-7 team and we are 3-10-1. Dumbest organization alive.
That's what happens when the #1 priority the owner has is something other than winning. Winning might be a priority, near the top of the list, but it isn't the priority. They aren't the only NFL team to suffer from that (Redskins, Bengals, etc.).

What’s weird is the ownership let’s the football do their jobs. William Clay Ford was never accused of interfering or anything. That whole family literally can’t hire the right people. It’s amazing.

Wasted such a good nickname with Chris Johnson. Really a shame.

I do want the record to show I was not in favor of the extension though.

That was around the same time Wren was giving extensions to everyone on that 2013 team. But all of them were great deals.

This signing day seems like it'll be filled with drama

Haven't followed it at all this year, but I assume something as usual like:

1. We have a pretty good but not overly great class right now
2. We're in on a bunch of committed- or leaning-elsewhere guys who like us and are getting our hopes up
3. Ultimately most if not of those guys will make a business decision to go with the other school instead of our rebuild
4. Leaving us feeling disappointed and underwhelmed with the decent class of guys we do have

How far off am I?
