The Atlanta Braves

It’s really hard to replace four NBA/G-League players when you recruit like we had the last three years. Good news is we have impact freshmen coming in next year.

I mean 4 for 25 from 3 pretty much says it all. Most of those were good looks too. And whereas normally I would be livid that they kept taking those 3s, I don't know what else they were supposed to do today considering how grossly outmanned we were in the front court.

The optimistic takeaway is that we aren't going to shoot like badly very often. The pessimistic -- and, in my mind, more realistic -- takeaway is that when push comes to shove there isn't a single damn player on this roster on whom you can count to put up points. We need to accelerate the JJJ-as-the-focal-point-of-the-offense timeline dramatically.

2/38 on Seager isn’t horrible and can’t inagine him costing much

I think Heyman was saying WSH would be looking at Seager.

I wouldn’t mind Seager if we signed Ozuna. That’d be a really good top 5

Yep I think it's time to feed JJJ now. He showed in the first half he's not afraid of the moment. Lets start progressing him and see what he's got.
