Right because POTUS has no checks and balances where every word he says and every action he takes is scrutinized , but 20 or 200 rouge FBI , CIA, NSA agents unchecked is practically harmless to citizens in this country . I actually thought this would be something everyone would agree on , I should have know the spin would come out as something the right wing propaganda machine is focusing on . Smh

I don’t I think many of you are stuck on 12 or 13 emotionally including those who chronologically have reached 70 or more. The reasoning part is underdeveloped.

There is plenty wrong with our country. No doubt. Has been for as long as I can remember But if ya’ll think Trump!’s behavior fixes it or the Freedom Caucus is the correct path then those Cristians among you don’t follow the all knowing all loving God I heard about as a boy.

Trump is doing all within his power to destroy the checks and balances that are built into the system.
That is one of the many things that makes him such a danger.

...doing all “ within his power “ , you can’t get around the fact that POTUS , has limits . Now tell me why it’s so EXTREMELY important that the citizens in this country have faith in our IC that they will do the right thing and not become weaponized .

The scary part is , I can think of 3-5 posters in here that I’m 99.9% sure would be ok with our IC being politicized and weaponized if it meant shortening Trumps presidency . The lack of those posters even bothering to bring up how bad this is just solidified my suspicions . The thing with Luther is , he did at least attempt to spin it .

I'm not sure I ever said it was EXTREMELY important. I think it is more important that the citizens of this country have faith that the POTUS will do the right thing. I think it is important that the citizens have faith that congress will maintain unimpeded oversight. I think it is important that the citizens have faith in the legitimate free press.
