It is hard to understand why Trump inspires so much loyalty from the Republican Party base. Trump is not a conservative at all in the traditional sense of Ronald Reagan. He doesn't believe in smaller government or in cutting spending. And unlike Reagan, who built his reputation on standing up to communism and to authoritarian rule, Trump doesn't project strength on the world stage. He backs down to Putin. He is not strong at all.

It has nothing to do with having lost the election.
It has everything to do with Trump being a horrendously despicable human.
Had any of the other 17 republican candidates won, none of this would have happened.
I wish you guys would (could) process those facts.

Our choice was Trump or Clinton. It should be clear to you why conservatives are loyal to Trump. And with the candidates your party is rolling out now, you expect our loyalty to change right now. The Dem candidates are all Looney Tunes.
