If he has any self awareness at all, he will be a better HC at his next job than he was at Tennessee. If you can spend two years at Alabama and not come away from it with something that can help you, I don't know if you can be helped.

Butch can go to CSU all he wants. Colorado will get he best recruits available to that area, and even CU won't be as good again as they once were. CSU was as good under Bobo as they will be with anyone else.

Colo St doesn't see that. They see 50-27 at 2 G5 schools with 4 conference titles in 6 seasons. He'd be a good hire for them, IMO. Colo St is fine with winning 6-7 games and making a bowl and being competitive in their division.
