Yeah all the fans that were fine with being mediocre and have no interest in what’s best for the players.
Don’t be surprised when several skip the game and guess what, they will still be VFL while the lazy in state fans only care about having a close game

I’m sure that this is going to come as a shock to you, but there actually might be some players who would prefer playing in Nashville as opposed to Jacksonville. Neither bowl is much to write home about from a prestige standpoint, and it’s not as if the Vols are being denied a trip to Saint Martin and forced to spend the holiday in Flint, Michigan instead.

Also, nothing is set in stone; there’s still a very real possibility that Tennessee winds up in the Gator Bowl.

Why is the Gator bowl not most likely?

Supposedly, MCB is pushing hard for UT because last year bowl did not do well. Purdue did not travel.
