How To Watch Bowl Selection Process (Today)

I still say publicity wise for recruits, Gator is the way to go. Only game on, primetime slot......more eyes will be on this game. Plus I want to reward the boys with a warm climate game outside the state. Not sure why there would be mutual interest with MCB outside of the payout.......doubt Tenn needs a couple 100,000 dollars that bad.
Yeah seems dumb if that report is true that we’d prefer MCB over Gator. Color me skeptical

The payouts don't matter...all that goes to the league office and distributed to all sec schools in the bowls or not...

Yeah, I mean I guess from a payout standpoint the MCB is better than the Gator. When barn beat Bama it really sent any hope for the Outback out the window. So MCB is as good as it gets
Personally i dont have any interest in the payout..we only get a part of it and and those amounts area drop in the bucket for our Athletic Department.

If we go to a warm weather bowl, im interested...not so much in the others regardless of the payout

Do NOT want to go to anything with Gator in the title, makes me sick to my stomach.… Now invites to the Taxslayer or Outback Bowls in a nice warm place would be awesome though.

I would think the Cotton Bowl for Bama. Surely they wouldnt bump Bama all the way to the Citrus. They were one of the favorites for the top 4 until the iron bowl.

Alabama’s currently ranked 12th in the CFP rankings...we’ll outside that range.

Barring a major reshuffling of the top 7-12, the Cotton Bowl seems as though it’s likely a lock for whoever doesn’t go to the Rose Bowl between Wisconsin and Penn State (or - to some possibility - Utah).

Um, the Taxslayer Bowl is the Gator Bowl, they're not two separate bowls.

Outback hasn't taken a team with less then 8 regular season wins since way back in 2011, that game was a long shot to begin with.

Um, sometimes humor or intent isn't conveyed by words or immediately recognized as "Just kidding" and we use Blue font to indicate "not serious" The Gator comment was one of those, so sorry??? Next time I'll use blue font and I honestly think we are headed back to the MCB in Nashville anyway. I have good friends there so the 9+ hour drive will be the biggest expense I have to get there. After our 1-4 start I'd spend the money to go to the Detroit tidy bowl though...

Sounds like this is going to be 4 hours of playoff/Top 25 talk. I don’t think they’ll announce bowls until the end of the show.

Brothers and sisters, I really prefer the LSU perspective on the upcoming final CFP standings: "it don't matter to us, we'll play anyone, anywhere, any time. Want us to go up to Canada? Want to tee it up in a gravel lot? Okay, we'll be there."

Ohio State, by contrast, is trying way too hard. Arguing about how they deserve it, how it's only fair for them to be #1. Seems a little whiny to me.

I like what LSU's coach and players are saying. Can hardly understand Orgeron, but i like the parts i can make out. Heh.
