I do not see how Fromm is NFL quality.

Then you haven't watched him or NFL boards. He was elite before Coley came. He will get better coaching in the league. Not saying he'll be a great NFL qb, but's a strong prospect. Smart, accurate, bit of mobility. He's 2nd round at worst by most mock drafts. Not sure how you think he won't be drafted.

One takeaway from LSU this year:
Most everyone questioned Coach O as their head coach. Good recruiter. Good defensive coach. Thought he was a stop gap though. Escaped hot seat a few times. Had to learn on the job to become a good HC.

Not a good comparison at all.

Coach O wasn’t a good DC and he was fired from his first learn on the job assignment.

Actually it is a good comparison. I did not say identical or that O was a good D.C., said he was a good defensive coach and he is / was. Was learning to be a HC and was on the hot seat. Also said he is a good recruiter. Most points are pretty similar... I'm sure we could agree to disagree on the finer points though.
Which HC situation is a better comparison IYO?
