He's doing pretty well for a school out in BfE...albeit a blueblood. Probably has them right about where they historically belong. 9-10 wins while in the B1G. FSU was drooling over him. He earned his leverage and raise. Hell of a coach anyone that can get Andy to 18 wins in 2 seasons.

You forget who else is in that conference so on that note...

Wait. I thought fsu was choosing between Franklin and stoops. Wonder if Gundy will get a raise out of this.

My Arkansas friend said Chad Morris supposedly had a huge graphic of he and Deshaun Watson in Clemson gear up in the entrance to the Arky football complex. He didnt move his family to Fayetteville. There was 0 buy in from players because it appeared their HC had one foot out the door from day 1.
Damn, that sounds a lot like Kiffin and Tennessee. He had USC pictures all over the complex.

I agree except for Morris. Giving him another year was most likely delaying the inevitable. Odom and Luke were different, IMO. Both took over teams with baggage from the NCAA. Both were trying to weather the storm to get out from under that. Heck, Mizzou still had a bowl ban in place. Both programs screwed up, IMO. I think Luke probably would still be the coach had one of his players not pulled his stupid stunt. Even if they had lost in overtime, I think he would have been retained. The dog pee incident was the proverbial straw IMO.
Arkansas needs to do away with the pig hats and the "pig sooey" call. I guess it's considered OK if you're born into it but some grown a$$ men just can't accept it. Chad Morris may have been one of those guys if he didn't move his family to Arkansas.

I just googled for the average price of U2 concert tickets and it's $188 ! (There are tix as low as 17 dollars but that's the average). Imagine going from an opening band at $8.50 gig that seats around 3k (and opening bands are generally paid a very, very, low take or a very low flat fee) to an average of $188 with an average crowd of 66,091.
