I don’t know. It isn’t just receiver. We’re struggling at WR, RB, DL, and edge rusher. I don’t know why we’re having such a difficult time, especially when we have so much opportunity to sell at every position except DL. Playing time is available, we finished the season strong, and the struggle persists.

When I look at receiver, we have as much to offer as anyone else. Outside of LSU and Bama, no one uses their receivers as much us, and we are also losing our receivers as well. Opportunity is there to come in and play immediately. We have a proven WR coach, we have a pass happy OC, and we have one of the top QB’s in the country committed. What am I missing?

No idea. But outside of the top programs right now, no one is really killing it receiver wise. Look at LSU, OSU, aTm and Bama. They have the majority of the best WRs in this class. Maybe it has something to do with HB not really recruiting real hard right now because he's focused on the playoffs? Hyatt and Calloway ain't to shabby though.

Highland Park in Dallas. Just finished short of 4 consecutive state championships. First two in that streak quarterbacked by Jerry Jones grandson...now at Arkansas.

If Calloway sticks at WR then yes, but we definitely need 1-2 more. We needed a guy to be able to contribute early, maybe one of them can. If we get Holiday I’ll be excited about his potential, tho it wouldn’t surprise me if he sticks at QB. He is electric.

Why is atm killing it at receiver? Weird

Usually with Wide recievers,elite ones anyways.they look to see who will be throwing them the ball first and that (in my opinion) has not been a good selling point untill as of here recently.i get we have HB coming in and stuff but that’s unknown transferring over to the College level but I’m just saying,I don’t think it has anything to do with our depth or TEE entirely..because with no QB or a decent one anyways,how will they get the ball?

We missed on the elite WR targets but not exactly struggling when you may sign Hyatt, Callaway and Holliday. That’s 3 big time athletes that can play WR. Add in Gibbs who redshirted and we should be fine next yr at the position.
