Think so. That’s a good one.

We hope Tillman is another
This staff has an uncomfortable amount of my trust, almost at a "too good to be true" level. I'm not a very trusting person, at all, so admitting that out loud makes me feel like a fool.

That said, I trust this staff's evaluations far and away more than any recruiting service. If they find what they think is a diamond in the rough, then they've found one in my book.

Probably is.

I take the flu a lot more seriously after it nearly killed my mum earlier this year.
She was in an induced coma for 15 days on and an ECMO machine for most of that (look that one up). It was over 60 days from initial hospitalization until she could go home following a step down unit and rehab for her atrophied legs.
100% recovered now praise the Lord but while on ECMO, she was given a 30% chance of survival.
And it started because she was too belligerent to seek care until she was too weak to resist my dad literally throwing her in that car. On a side note, I no longer can adequately hate UNC. They saved her life once she got transported there.

Oh wow. Just glad it ended well but sorry you all went thru that, that's terrible.

Thanks. It was several weeks of hell. I was leaving Charlotte at 5:30 in the morning to drive up there, meeting my dad at the hospital, working out of the waiting room, driving home at 3:00 and working once I got home.

The worst part is, I will NEVER be able to shake the image of my mum hooked up to the ECMO machine and on life support. They literally have both a nurse and a technician in the room 24/7 for the entire stay.

I say that to stress, don't put your family through that. At least see a doctor and get some Thera-flu.
