I think most reputable coaches would have an uneasy feeling interviewing for a head coach position that was not vacant. Never mind, I saw "reputable coach" right after I typed it.

There are probably 3-4 current commits that might not end up in this class. IDT UT really wants to part ways with anybody, but it may be a necessity. A few guys have moved up the board in the last week, so there are more wants than spots.

I think the Bama thing depends a lot on fan age. I became a fan in the late 70's during a losing streak. Then in 82 we broke it and won 4 in a row. Then Bama started another, then we had a long one. They are always the most fun to beat, and see get beat, for me. The hate is stronger for them than anyone else we play, I was raised on it. I watched many games in late 80's and early 90's, that we should have won, when I wanted to do this though.

Yeah, mid 80s was my start. At least when I was old enough to understand and remember. I think people who just started since Saban got there don't really get it as much.

I thought scholarships were for one year and then the NCAA made it ok to award 4 year scholarships. I'm guessing the 4 year scholarship is reserved for "stud athletes" and is strictly up to the head coach. Just my opinion.

If by NY loft, you mean living in a small room in my in-laws house, and I can only assume you do, you are correct. As for Taiwan, I’ve only passed through the airport but spent $10 on beef noodles which was way too much
