The Impeachment Thread

C’mon Crush. Stop hiding Let’s get this debate on Trump’s Presidency started
Geez, dude. Whatever made you believe I want to debate Trump's presidency, much less with you? I didn't vote for him, nor will I vote for him in '20 because I think he's an immoral sack. He happens to have done things that I agree with, and that I believe have helped the country. He also happens to be an immoral sack that I could never pull the lever for.

I am against the impeachment for the sake of the presidency and the republic. I personally believe that it's a soft coupe and our country's heart is at stake. If it were the Republicans (whom I detest) treating a D president this way, I would respond exactly the same.

As I've been on record as saying for over a year, the above is what I suspect, though I don't know for a fact. I'm holding out final judgment until everything is made public, if everything is made public.

But I suspect little will be made public because we have a corrupt government, run by two parties that crap on us so that politicians can horde power and get rich at our expense.

So, what in the hell do you expect me to debate with you, and why in the hell would I dignify your immature, childish behavior with an adult conversation?

Go back to following strangers around a political forum, sniping immature insults and names-calling, showing just how desperate you are for attention. It's too late for you to try to engage at any level beyond that. You'll need an alter for anyone to take you seriously and engage you as if you're worth it.

That's a good dog. Now, roll over.

That implies a President shouldn’t get what he lawfully deserved?

Why are you assuming he deserves anything but to be afraid of a room full of lawyers and politicians trying to trip him up with the hope that he commits perjury ? Is it written somewhere that he has to testify ? I’d like to see it if it is . If not then It is up to them to accept an “invite” to , and I’m back to my original statement... ANY president that testifies under oath in a room full of lawyers and politicians is an IDIOT.

I’m speaking conceptually about any President and it seems you are replying specific to 45

???? You may need to up the RX on your glasses if you are having problems seeing the “ ANY” in my posts , in capital letters .

Edit : you seem to project a lot , that’s a character flaw you may want to work on .

Trump especially given that he lies habitually, and about the most inane things. He can't help himself. It's a mental illmess.

Well then back to my point. It seems you would not want a President held accountable for misdeeds if the misdeeds are to be confirmed in a trial

ANY president , considering he has to choose to sit in front of your brethren under oath and field their questions would be an idiot . I’ll also add that ANY lawyer worth his salt would tell ANY president how incredibly stupid that would be . WHAT SAY YOU ?

What trial ? You are conveniently skipping over where I asked for proof he has to testify . I’ll take anything written down and applied throughout our history . Should I wait or nah ?

It is a lawyer’s job to avoid his Client being found guilty. Agreed but that is not my point. It seems you feel a President should not be held accountable For misdeeds if the misdeeds are to be confirmed in a trisl

Still waiting on anything saying he has to testify under oath and not just because he chooses to .

bob weave. Avoid the point. He could of course take the 5th. So you won’t acknowledge the point seeks your reply. Not bobbing. Not weaving. A reply

By bob and weave you actually mean ... no I can’t produce anything for you to see that says ANY president should be forced to testify under oath ? You could have just said , you are right . Would have saved a lot of time .

I’ve seen how you use your time , I agree it’s a waste of your time trying to get me to say what you think I should , it won’t work . I was very clear on what I think of all of them .

There are some bad precedents being set right now in terms of oversight. It's hard to see how any President refusing to comply with subpoenas and blocking witnesses from testifying is anything positive for the future of our country... and there will eventually be a Republican controlled House with a Democratic Party President again.

Yes, but especially Trump because he cannot help himself and is guaranteed to lie. A lot.

Sooooo you would be really adamant when you advised him not to testify under oath in a room full of lawyers and politicians ? I would be to .
