It almost looks like Auburn is lucky with Bama the way Florida has been lucky in some of their games with Tennessee. One or two fluke plays have determined the outcome of the game. That missed field goal and return for a TD a few years ago must still haunt the Bama faithfulAwbarn was really lucky to win that game..lol. Those two pick sixes were actually 21 point swings. Bama was on the 2 yard line when Jones hit Najee in the back on that one int..lol.
Did you not agree with the post ? Some of the greatest player development I have ever witnessed in a single year with a single team. I have loved watching it and commenting on it. No grudges. I like your post or anyone who post good info. Lets get a good recruiting class and let the Bammers of the world fear the Vols again. The very best to you and yours SLICK
Uga and texas would have been better than ND last year, just as 1 example.Look at the rankings from previous years. Teams outside of top 4 generally don’t deserve it.
Bama just wasn't motivated. It almost looks like Auburn is lucky with Bama the way Florida has been lucky in some of their games with Tennessee. Well said.Uga and texas would have been better than ND last year, just as 1 example.
But I digress, the current system just doesn't make sense for so many. UCF proved that ALL G5 teams (half of all teams eligible for the playoffs) aren't allowed in. This is an absurd system for half of its users. They only stay because the money is here. Now we are seeing further bias against teams like Utah or Baylor or Minnesota at various times. If you aren't a "chosen" team, you aren't allowed in the club. We need more diversity in the playoffs and that will open up recruiting some. Currently it's bammer, clemson, etc telling recruits they'll be in the playoffs every year and 120 out of the other 130 schools will never get in.
It's all f******. Give the little guys a chance and end the boredom it has all become.
Guess you aren’t aware that KS,WF, JP are essentially all best friends....on and off the field
This is what I have been trying to say. The best recruits are loading up on the teams that will win their conference to get to the playoffs. It will continue to get worse and worse. Basically the same 6 teams will be in every year. Especially since those teams are viewed as superior because of the highest ranked players on them. So even if they lose one they are still viewed as better than a one loss Utah that wins their conference. If those teams start making the playoffs, even if drilled, they will start getting better players.I'd say leave it at 4 teams, to "preserve the importance of the regular season"...
*If the regular season wasn't 90% boring garbage.
It's just the super teams from each conference, rolling thru their schedule. The only drama being a team so bored, they don't even show up.
Outside of the Iron bowl, all I heard from the playoffs was which team's 40+ point win, looked more impressive. So whatever gets more watchable FB, I'm for.
I was at the game and couldn't hear that offsetting penalty situation. What the heck did they call on Tennessee?
