Chicken or egg thing. Do you not think them becoming a P5 school has benefited them?

Of course it has. There's a lot more money to invest in p5. But would you agree that benefit would be more after a few years and the first year in a p5 conference wouldn't be affected by that? Utah won 8 games in their first year in the pac12 and TCU won 7 in their first year in the big 12. Both won 4 conference games their first year. Not bad for teams that everyone assumed would fail miserably.

Yesterday on SEC Nation they had some skit where Paul was asking Auburn fans to tell him why Alabama doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs. This little kid walks up there and says they haven't played anyone ranked all year except Tennessee. I was like

Watched the Knoxville QB club meeting this week and Wojciehowski was the speaker, and he thought it would be him.

I think it would be a very good hire for them. Not all that “splashy” but he’s winning games at UK with a WR at QB. Found and developed josh Allen, has beaten or almost beaten several teams more talented than them.

Also, we’ve got a championship level coaching staff with players that finally see it too. Future is bright.

Agree, although I think the fanbase would not be that thrilled. It really seemed like they went for a splash with WT, need to get a solid coach this time around.

This was probably my favorite Eric Gray run from yesterday. Number 33 thought he had him and Gray kind of torqued his body to the left and #33 realized oh crap this kid is fast as Gray was running by him

Paper talent because it hasn't been coached up properly, hence Helton being fired. Do better. Meyer won a natty two years after Zook got fired. Was UF full of paper talent too?
