That right there is why we are afflicted with thisCause Ubben has written a lot of really good content. His stories on Pruitts background for example are the best I’ve read from any media source in Knoxville. I can appreciate his good stuff while having disdain for his jabs that he takes at times. He’s nowhere near as bad as KNS that brings up every negative story they can think of as often as possible
I think I must have forgotten some of the stuff y’all are referencing
I saw a video clip iirc of you asking him, *"No, I want to know why you dont want to answer. I want to write about what you dont want to talk about." And the same exact theme had already been enacted in Pruitt's Monday presser. He was asked about it. And he answered well and informedly. And then he asked was asked a second time, because he wasn't saying what the reporters wanted him to say. That is, he didn't criticize his player. This second time he was asked, Pruitt had to say "you said "a lightbulb came on for him. I didnt say that. Dont put words in my mouth." I dont know who asked twice, but you were there. You know this. Then the whole scene was replayed in the player interview where Warrior was asked and didnt want to go into the past negative part. and then you asked him again and specifically to tell what he didnt want to talk about. Your second question was the fourth try in two or three days. That gave me a very bad impression. I was reacting to that. After I saw that, I didn't bother to read the story because you'd already poisoned the well on that topic with the second (= the fourth) iteration of the same question.Hunting for trash? Warrior didn't want to answer a couple questions. I was curious to why. His answer was because it was in the past. That's fine, and actually illustrates some of his personality. I wrote about how he's a completely different player this year. It's fairly obvious that Warrior was not an outstanding player early in his career. It's my job to ask about why. It's his right to not answer the question. I tried to explain why we've seen such a dramatic shift this season.
This is what I wrote about Warrior off that interaction.
He's telling it straight, @David UbbenUbben, let me make this as simple as possible. You find me in the recruiting forum because I love recruiting. I've never seen a recruit say he has a subscription to the Athletic. But I have seen rival fans retweet your clickbait Twitter headlines.
Your bs damages what I enjoy. If that gets you some extra subscribers, good for you.. I guess.
But personally, idgaf what's in your hidden content, as a direct result of your promotion tactics.
Is that simple enough?
Come to think of it... I think I’ve just seen one girl take a selfie here with her BF. Totally get your pointsMy gym did a remodel and a bunch of new people joined. I don’t get the gym culture: a bunch of tattoos, people taking selfies in front of the mirror, carrying those bags around you mentioned, carrying around a milk jug of water, guys just wearing socks with no shoes, women barely wearing any clothes at all, etc.... I liked my old gym with old equipment and a bunch of old people better
My gym in Thailand was too much with the selfies. I think the country is #1 or 2 in selfies. Girls just go sit on different equipment, take photos and leave. My gym did a remodel and a bunch of new people joined. @David Ubben You seemed to take a nasty turn when we were down. I for one OTOH like some of your recent tweets and I'm hoping you understand what I'm trying to say, because I wouldn't waste my breath if I didn't think you could turn it around. There are several (who shall go unnamed) who it wouldn't pay to speak with. Good luck this weekend with your work!
