But, UT is like 16th in the nation in assist to turnover ratio. What worries me is 67% free throw shootingAgree. They didn’t shoot well, and offense looked stagnant, but they will have games like this especially when playing with several freshman. Biggest thing I’ve noticed is the amount of turnovers. They will need to work on taking care of the ball.
I agree, 18-12 will more than likely get UT in, with this schedule. Gotta have a couple more wins like Washington and the annual beatdown of UK at TBA, to guarantee it. If Plavsic gets eligible after the Christmas break, it would be huge, in more ways thsn one. Still think Vescovi coming in after the Christmas break and helping is a longshot. Hope I'm wrong and "Free Uros!"With the schedule we have 18-12 regular season is definitely good enough to be in the tournament, but I believe that we will be better than that. If Uruguay PG is good and Plavsic is ruled eligible Turner, Bowden, James, Pons, Fulkerson;Plavsic, Nkouhma, Johnson, Vescovi, Gaines, Pember. That’s a very solid rotation and could change our season drastically
Seth G said today he thinks Washington is a F4 team. No mention of TN beating them though. Vescovi gettin approved in a month. I'm with u. At aint gonna happen.I agree, 18-12 will more than likely get UT in, with this schedule. Gotta have a couple more wins like Washington and the annual beatdown of UK at TBA, to guarantee it. Even Bowden stopped working for position 2nd half. He'da had 30 points if he played 2nd like he did first."After Tuesday night’s win over Chattanooga Barnes was critical of Lamonte Turner’s decision making on a night when he went 4-of-16 from the floor but also dished out 12 assists. Initially Barnes was critical of Turner for not getting others more touches, particularly John Fulkerson who was 4-of-4 from the floor and got to the line nine times. After watching the tape Barnes amended his stance and felt like Fulkerson, as well as Yves Pons, needed to do a better job of establishing position and demanding the ball. That will be something to keep an eye on this weekend, especially against Florida State’s size in the paint."
