I agree with what you’ve said, although I don’t know that what Giuliani was doing for him falls under the heading of legal representation.We don't know the scope of what the two may have agreed for Giuliani to do. And yes, a discussion of a news article can be covered by the relationship depending on the scope of the representation.
Example I’ve used is that if you hire a lawyer to mow your grass, the mower height is not privileged.
Political oppo work is arguably not legal representation, but they’ve sort of couched it in a way in some of his batshit appearances that make it seem like it might be legal representation related to Mueller?
Trump has to assert the privilege. At one time, I thought it would be worth calling Rudy to get Trump to assert privilege just to rule out the “Rudy gone rogue” stuff.
Then I realized that nobody really thinks Rudy wasn’t working at Trump’s direction.
