The Barnes postgame show on the radio tonight was hilarious. He was really messing with Bob about “choosing” to call the football game on Saturday instead of traveling with the basketball team to Florida to call the basketball game. It seemed like he pressed him for 3 or 4 minutes straight, peppering him to make a choice. He was relentless. Bob was hemming and hawing and finally said it was out of his hands to which Barnes replied then you’re no longer the voice of the basketball vols. He basically fired him on the air. It was funny as hell and it was obvious that it was all in good fun.

I think I saw where some fans didn’t really care for the exchange between Cole and Pruitt after the Missouri game on Saturday. I liked it. I thought it was refreshing for a reporter to get out of the typical rut and I thought Pruitt handled it exceptionally well. In both football and basketball I think our coaches are really enjoying what they are doing and I think that obviously translates to our players. We’re having fun and growing confidence. I’m really happy for the guys who take the court or take the field for us because especially in football it’s been a while since our guys have been able to I think really have some fun which in my view is a significant contributor to success. jmo.

I’m fine with that if it means he’s gonna routinely throw it all over the field for 400 yds and multiple TDS

LSU is not as good as they normally are but are still probably better than most, if not all, the defenses that Utah has faced.

Not true at all, Utah can be a good team too. LSU gives up a lotta points though. It’s why most think Ohio State is better, more balance & a top 10 offense/defense.

We played damn good defense, but never seemed to find an offensive rhythm.

I see potential. He's mobile, gets the ball out quickly, and has been accurate with the football.

Looking at the stats, if he's accurate with the ball then five times he been has been playing for the other team
